Panel Hearing Week 5 – May 31 to June 3: Tabled Documents 440 – 467
If you do nothing else, please listen to the presentations of our experts. Gavin Mudd and Tillman Ruff demonstrated just how flawed Victorian laws are in relation to identifying and managing risk from radiation. Conleth Loughlin showed just how unrealistic the ‘centrifuge’ options are, Drs Jasonsmith and Drake, showed just how substandard the work Kalbar did on soils, tailings and rehabilitation is. It is a great pity that the Panel opted to get further advice from an ‘expert’ whose sphere of knowledge is telecommunications and does not extend to ionising radiation (particularly transport).
May 31 – Mine-Free Glenaladale: Conleith O’Loughlin (centrifuge modelling), Matthew Currell (hydrology)
